Glaze Options

Nearly every stain can take a light or dark glaze. Penned glazes (on stains and paints) highlight the door profile; flooded glazes (stains only) change the overall tone of the stain. Shown beside the unglazed finish for comparison.

Brushed Finish Options

A base color touched by hand with a directional brush stroke that follows the wood grain, from softly aged to deeply weathered. Ember and Shadow have the heaviest brush stroke.

Top Coat Techniques

Iced Top Coat adds a subtle shimmer over the whole cabinet; Ultra Matte absorbs light for a soft, solid look. A second color on applied-moulding doors is also available.

Specialty finishes and materials

Finishes with Special Effects

Stain and glaze pairings with Antiquing, Vintage Clear or Vintage Touch distressing: softened edges, sand-through, speckling and worm holes, depending on the technique.

Textured Laminate

Woodgrain textured laminate, Omega Full Access series.

Custom Colors and Stains

Custom opaques. Omega can match a color from any national paint brand, or a fabric swatch or object you love.

Custom stains and techniques. Omega can produce a door to match a stain or technique from a solid-wood sample of at least 6" x 6"; half of the sample comes back to you for approval.

Swatches are reproduced from Omega’s 2026 door and finish guide. Actual color varies with wood species, grain and screen settings.
